How many different things can I eat with everything bagel spice?
It turns out the answer is: many.
Since discovering everything bagel spice at Trader Joe’s, I’ve enjoyed it on eggs, avocado, smoked salmon, salads, cucumber slices, sprinkled in sandwiches, and — yes — even inside quesadillas (especially good if there’s a fried egg inside). It’s also fantastic stirred into a homemade dairy-free ranch.
Everything bagel spice already contains key ranch flavors like garlic and onion, but it also adds poppy and sesame seeds plus flaky sea salt that elevate a simple ranch to something special — all from a quick sprinkle.
Call it the lazy-girl next-level ranch: an easy shortcut that delivers big flavor.

I’ve tested several dairy-free ranch recipes, and this version is my favorite for its simplicity and bright, fresh flavor.
How to make dairy-free EVERYTHING BAGEL SPICED ranch dressing
This dressing is incredibly easy. Combine the ingredients in a small bowl and whisk: mayonnaise, dried spices, a splash of vinegar and lemon juice, chopped fresh herbs, and water to thin to your preferred consistency.
Fresh herbs make a big difference — parsley, chives, cilantro, or dill all work well. I usually use whatever I have on hand.
I use Trader Joe’s everything bagel spice because of its flaky sea salt and balance of flavors, but other brands sell similar blends, or you can make your own at home. If you choose to make your own, be sure to include flaky sea salt to make the flavors pop.
Adjust water to achieve the consistency you want: thicker for dipping, thinner for salads.
