Important ingredient notes

- Rotisserie chicken: Rotisserie chicken is an easy, flavorful base for chicken salads. If you use homemade shredded chicken, you may want to add a touch more seasoning to boost flavor.
- Greek yogurt and mayonnaise: A combination of Greek yogurt and mayonnaise keeps the salad lighter while retaining the creaminess that mayo provides. This balance delivers a creamy texture without being overly heavy.
- Taco seasoning and ranch powder: The brand can affect flavor, so choose seasonings you enjoy. Adjust amounts to taste to get the level of spice and tang you prefer.

Expert tips
- Chill before serving. Refrigerate the salad for at least an hour when possible. Chilling improves texture and allows flavors to meld.
- Mix before serving. If juices settle in the fridge, give the salad a quick stir before packing or serving so every bite tastes balanced.
- Serve with chips. This recipe is made to be scooped with tortilla chips or crackers — skip the bread if you want a scoopable, crunchy experience.
